We conducted a thorough security assessment using Nessus and Qualys. These tools scanned the website for vulnerabilities, including outdated plugins and insecure code. We identified critical issues, documented them, and reported them to our clients. The results helped us prioritize the most urgent fixes to improve overall security.
We updated all website software, including WordPress, plugins, and themes. Using WP-CLI, we efficiently managed and executed updates. This process fixed known security flaws and made sure of compatibility with the latest security standards. Regular updates were also done to keep the website secure.
We installed a robust firewall using Wordfence and Sucuri. These tools provided essential protection against malicious visitor traffic and virus attacks. We configured firewall settings to block unauthorized access and monitor potential threats in real-time. We also periodically updated and monitored firewall rules.
We solved the query submission issues by adding reCAPTCHA and hCaptcha to the design. These tools prevented automated spam. They also guaranteed that user queries were processed correctly and saved securely. We thoroughly tested the forms to confirm their functionality and reliability and to improve DGM Billing users’ experience.
We implemented SSL/TLS encryption to secure user data during transmission. We used Let’s Encrypt for SSL certificates, which provided strict encryption for data exchanges. This upgrade made sure that sensitive information was protected. And it also improved the website’s credibility and trustworthiness as a bonus.
We added a backup system using UpdraftPlus and BackupBuddy. Automated backups were scheduled to run at regular intervals. This was done to secure website data against any loss. Backups were also stored in a secure offsite location. This decision was taken to make sure of a quick recovery in case of a breach or data loss.
1-2 incidents per quarter. With the implemented security measures, the number of security incidents should be minimal. Regular updates and robust firewalls significantly reduced the frequency of breaches or malware attacks.
20-30 blocked attacks per month. A well-configured firewall should block numerous malicious attempts. The number of alerts shows that the firewall protects the website from threats.
95-98% success rate. Automated backups should be completed successfully with minimal errors. Our regular testing makes backups reliable, and data can be restored quickly if needed.
Certificates are renewed every 90 days. SSL/TLS certificates should be renewed well before their expiration dates. With our regular renewal schedules, we ensured that encryption remained up-to-date and effective.
5-10 failed login attempts per week. A few failed login attempts are normal, but a significant increase might indicate potential security threats. With regular monitoring, we helped DGM Billing address any unusual patterns.
0-2 new vulnerabilities per scan. Regular vulnerability scans should reveal a few new issues if the website is properly maintained. We immediately addressed these vulnerabilities to help maintain a secure environment.
