With their target audience as new parents, Cucoons wanted a user-friendly website. After consultation, we mutually decided that Cucoons should have a Shopify website. Shopify is a simple and trusted platform that allows Cucoons to showcase all their baby products in one place. It’s secure, so customers can safely buy products using their preferred payment methods.
Shopify also works smoothly on phones, tablets, and computers, so parents can shop from anywhere, even while holding their baby! Plus, the platform helps Cucoons easily manage inventory, track orders, and connect with customers. With Shopify, Cucoons can focus on helping parents find the best products while the website takes care of the rest.
We started by deciding what Cucoons needed for their online store. The main goal was to create a simple shopping experience where parents could easily find safe, sustainable baby products. The design had to be more than just easy to use. It also needed to show the brand’s mission and values: simplicity, safety, and convenience for new parents.
We chose a simple, understated theme from Shopify that suited Cucoons’ aesthetic. We then selected a very flexible theme and used Shopify’s Liquid templating language to change layouts. We selected the font Lora to create a warm, welcoming vibe and personalized the website with Cucoons’ logo, which has a simple and caring style. This guaranteed that every graphic detail mirrored their message of trust and care. We also created custom product pages featuring images and their complete descriptions. Features like age-appropriate recommendations were added so parents could quickly select the right products.
Oberlo was used to handle inventory and drop ship items. It makes it easy for Cucoons to keep track of their stock. Yotpo takes care of user-generated material and reviews from customers. This is very important to build trust with first-time parents buying. Klaviyo is in charge of email marketing and automation. It lets Cucoons keep in touch with customers through emails, sales, and personalized suggestions. With PushOwl’s push messages, Cucoons can keep their customers interested by telling them about sales and new products in real-time.
Security is very important when people pay online, especially for new parents. We added Shopify Payments so that the checkout process would go smoothly. This works with many payment options, such as Apple Pay, PayPal, and credit cards. We turned on SSL verification on the site to keep data safe. This makes sure that all transactions are safe and protected.
New parents are often on the go, so we optimized the website for mobile devices. Using Shopify’s responsive design, we tested the site on various devices and screen sizes. This ensured smooth navigation and quick loading times. We also simplified the layout, which helps users find what they need in just a few clicks.
Before we launched the site, we used Yoast SEO to make it search-engine friendly. We optimized keywords, meta tags, and picture alt texts and made the website faster to rank higher. We set up both Google Analytics and Shopify's analytics dashboard. Our clients can monitor traffic, sales, and user activity with these tools. They help Cucoons keep track of progress and improve marketing plans for the future.
